Would it not make more sense to post when something IS available?

Well yes, but Marcos only posted his message 30 minutes ago. Aren't you being a little impatient?

It is available. I just downloaded it even though the web page still shows it as the older version.
    Have fun!:D

I could say the same by posting a thread entitled "ESET NOD32 Antivirus v4.0.489 Not Available".

    Achieves the same, doesn't it...

Ever felt that a thread is going nowhere?

It is an announcement, we just have to wait for the update servers to be populated, this will take some time.

I've checked the EAV installer on the download page and here's what Orca found:

Is it a fair assumption that the installer contains the new build, Marcos ?
Or shall we wait until this is sorted out ?

Thank you and keep up the great support work here at Wilder's to you and your Team at ESET.

It states 437 even though the actual download is 467.

Thank you, this is a bit messy, but if the new build is out I will install it, though if the download URL listed the correct build it would certainly be less confusing for users, yes ? :cautious:

Marcos gave the correct information, it is the new version. It might take 24 hours for the description to be updated that you see on the page to show the new build number.

Encourage all who are having problems with previous builds of version 4 on server operating systems, to try this build and post your feedback on how it's working.

Real-Time-File-System-Protection was disabled upon installation and reboot - was required to enter UI to re-enable, otherwise, all looks good from here on XP Pro SP3 Box.

    Merci ! ESET :thumb:

To me it's interesting, what are these small improvements and fixes for products.
