Ok, smart optimization problem seems to be extended to other scanners/filters, skipping files in the operating memory and file system

the startup scan must be started immediately after update

Propably something confliting on your system. Try making a SysInspector log and sending it to ESET support.

Something I cannot explain and am disappointed with, with game mode on auto (full screen app detection) and rift.exe added to exclusions my frame rates in the game rift are 10 lower than with v4.2 on default ie not added to exceptions. Bit of a show stopper for me. I get 35+ frames in cities with v4 which is smooth and playable 25 frames a second is like a slide show!

I also got an old problem rear it's ugly head, every time I exit either WoW or rift I get a load of dns poisoning attacks, it took two years (for me) to get this sorted on v4 and now it's back and you get pop ups now also. This made me stay with v3 as long as I could. V4 is very stable for me now.
There are quite a few issues for an rc, I think beta 2 is a more apt name. ok I test and inspect probably far too much, but the hips issues, system impact (only on gaming/ benchmarks namely vantage -400 and passmark - 17%, system is very responsive on everything else) and the old firewall issues back.

What's the consensus on the v5 beta? Running v4.2.* and am tempted to install the beta over this to try it out. Is it worth it? Also, does the license carry over or only have v5 it out of beta?

    Hello all

Windows Update no longer works with Nod32 AntiVirus 5.

If I go into the Nod32 Advanced Settings and Disable HTTP Scanning then Windows Update will work.

    I am using Windows 7 Ultimate x86 and x64.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

v5 is worth a try if you are running v4. License works for all versions.

Is there any reason not to lock this thread since the RC is out? Feedback on the beta is pretty useless at this point.

Good point. We're closing this thread and further discussion about the RC will continue here.
