i went to isc.sans.org/diary.html and read the section on 2117966.net--mass iframe injection . i want to try out the ability to add blocked addresses to the http section of web access protection. the section on 2117966.net--mass iframe injection listed two addresses that should be blocked: (2117966.net and 61.188.39.175). my current user account is a limited account and when i went to click the [ok] button and tried to add the 2117966.net address eset displayed an error message. but it didnt seem to matter because it succeeded anyway in adding the addresses. the same thing happened to adding (61.188.39.175). can anybody else confirm this error message under a limited user account when using win xp pro? see link below for pics of screen shots.

Error can be confirmed here . The reason is simple . Under limited account in XP ESET's user interface (egui.exe) runs as limited appl. and it doesn't have full access to the necessary registry keys to modify program's settings . Try to terminate egui.exe from Task Manager , then navigate to "Program files" -> ESET ... product -> right click "egui.exe" and Run it as Administrator.
