ESET Cyber Security and ESET Cyber Security Pro Release Candidate are available

ESET Cyber Security and ESET Cyber Security Pro Beta are available to the public as Release Candidates for testing and feedback.

The Release Candidate versions 5.0.97.0 replace the previous Beta versions. The virus database for Beta will no longer be updated so to continue to receive full protection, you should upgrade to the Release Candidate version.

ESET Cyber Security and ESET Cyber Security Pro have been released.

The Release Candidate (RC) version cannot be upgraded to the latest version (5.0.106.x) automatically or by installing over the RC.

To upgrade from RC version:

1. Uninstall RC version by following the steps described in this ESET Knowledgebase article.
2. Perform a "clean" installation of ESET Cyber Security or ESET Cyber Security Pro.
