ESET and Thunderbird

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if I understand the compatability info right so thought I'd ask the question here.

Does ESET Smart Security 4 or/and 5 work with Thunderbird 11?

I'm using Thunderbird 3.1 because I know ESET works with it, I get an option for ESET on the tool bar at the top of my screen, and there is an option for ESET in the message drop down menu. But when I update Thunderbird to the new version I don't get any of these, so I don't know if ESET is working or not!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Here is what I know ( not much but anyway ) about the subject : ESET Smart Security version 5 will scan POP3/POP3S and IMAP/IMAPS email for malicious code and spam while using Mozilla Thunderbird 5 and later. Eset will not be scanning for spam for newer versions of Thunderbird, but still scan e-mails for malicious code.
