Do you Know what the acronym ESET stands for?

I didn't until I googled , actually I googled for Randy Abrams, Director of Technical Education, ESET LLC and by the way this is very interesting.:)

Informative read, thanks for posting :)

ESET is an acronym of Essential Security against Evolving Threats
edit: WIKI used to say this for ESET but has been corrected

    Cheers :)

I thought that ESET was Egyptian goddess. Look here:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eset

And NOD32 means "Nemocnica na okraji disku" (in Slovak) ---> Hospital at the edge of hard disk (in English)

    Which part?
    I don't understand o_O

I enjoyed that article - even though it was completely unrelated to NOD32 (perhaps I should have said so?) and is not a technique that I am likely to use any time soon.

The WIKI used to say ESET was an acronym but now doesn't even though most ESET pages have the supposed acronym in their title...

...If you prefer then I'll just delete my posts on the topic?
