Eset acronym and more?

Do you Know what the acronym ESET stands for?

I didn't until I googled , actually I googled for Randy Abrams, Director of Technical Education, ESET LLC and by the way this is very interesting.

I thought that ESET was Egyptian goddess. Look here:

I can see you are correct - not because it is in the WIKI, but because it was the head ESET legal that put it there.

But they have loads of competition for the use of the acronym

I don't understand

I enjoyed that article - even though it was completely unrelated to NOD32 (perhaps I should have said so?) and is not a technique that I am likely to use any time soon.

The WIKI used to say ESET was an acronym but now doesn't even though most ESET pages have the supposed acronym in their title...

...If you prefer then I'll just delete my posts on the topic?
