Can someone investigate this? Seems to hang on a 2MB installer for quite some time. Took me awhile to get this installed. Download can be found here: -http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/Core-Temp-setup.exe-

It takes about 2 seconds to scan that file. Try flushing the temp. folder as it may take longer to unpack files if a lot of files reside in the temp. folder.

Still getting a huge performance hit for 30seconds or so. Thankfully I only need to install it once and be done with it. Just thought it might be worthwhile to investigate.

If there is any way to provide debugging data to help track the problem, I'll be willing to help. :)

A log from Process Monitor created during installation would shed more light. I tried installing it here and installation went quickly as well as a scan of the file.

    Hi Marcos,

I have the 8+mb zipfile of the process monitor profile. Simply downloading that file is stalling my system out pretty heavily. Should I send this file in an email to samples@?

You can upload the log to a file sharing service or ftp and PM me the link.
