According to URLvoid MyWOT are the only ones that say this site is suspicious. However, our Barracuda Web Filter where I work also flags this site, but I've found our web filter to be unreliable.

eScan is a legitimate company, and their AV has a very high detection rate. But also a very high false positive rate. It detected malware in my Catalyst Control Center and several other common apps.

Edit: oh, you mean the URL itself. :isay:

You meant eScan got very high false positives? No wonder when I using its toolkit utility to scanned my PC it detected viruses that other av vendors don't.So it already deleted 1 file and renamed 3 files in my laptop for me.Will my laptop works unstable?I am afraid about it now.But wait a minute, why did AV comparative showed eScan got low false positive?

http://www.escanav.com is the official website for eScan. The above mentioned site is that of a distributor. On first glance it seems to be reliable enough, but caveat emptor o_O

(eScan uses BitDefender + it's own engines. The FPs aren't so bad now IMO)

    True..:)
The in-house engine creates FP but those are mainly related with registry not files in my case. But their support is less aware or concious of what an FP can do. I contacted their support multiple times and always they have asked me to remove/delete all 'threats'. But the interface is quite good and also the detection & cleaning.
