    Hi!

I very recently installed v 2.5 without a hitch but now I get this error trying to scan all my hdds:

"Error occurred while scanning operating memory. System memory cannot be scanned (the kernel service is not running or an error occured while loading nod32m1.vxd)."

Hmmm, this is strange. I decided to uninstall v 2.5 completely since I did an "over-the-top" installation from v 2.12.

When I look at my screenshot from my previous install in this thread
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=79875
I don't have the "NOD32" icon just below AMON, DMON and the rest. But after my clean uninstall/install it's there?
Now when I start NOD32 it doesn't say anything is wrong with my memory...

    Any ideas?

So are you saying that your issue has gone now? Once in a blue moon a glitch will occur with a install over the top, in such a case, uninstalling and removing the Eset folder, followed by a reinstall of a fresh copy of Nod32 from the website should resolve any issues.

    Cheers :D

    I think that's what I'm saying :)

Still don't get why the NOD32 icon didn't appear at all after my over-the-top installation. Oh well...

I guess you're right about glitches once in a while! ;)

Thank you kindly for your reply Blackspear!
