error.txt entries

As far as I can tell my Ewido 4 is running just fine.

But, take a look at my error.txt:

Is this normal?


For completeness, here is my logfile,too:

synchronize database and filecache
application start was blocked because of several instances
application start was blocked because of several instances

I have got no errors/warnings when using Ewido and I have scanned my whole system a couple of times just finding Eicar.(glad for that).

But any comments on those files are very much appreciated.

Hi,

Are you abled to update?

Please check whether your guard is running. If not the "Open event failed" messages are normal.

The logfile messages are not critical that are just notifications (if an real problematic error has occurred we use this to check if there happened anything)

Updates have been no problem, and I'm following the signatue-count posted at your site.

has not occured any more times. ZA has got necessary pemission.


No,the guard wasn't running at that time.

So I feel comfortable with Ewido by now, and your support is fantastic.

I think that I would be better off not looking at the error.txt file in the future to avoid confusion.
