I have already setup a scheduled scan on my main computer. Setting one up on my spare brought up the below error which kept popping up. I was able to create the schedule by continually pressing cancel on the dialog box.

Any idea what is wrong? Drive d: is the CD drive. Ewido was not installed from the CD drive, but from a shared directory on the server.

    System: WinXP Pro SP2, PIV 3.0gHz, 1gb RAM. Nod32 2.51.26, Ewido 4.0.0.172 plus

On my XP-Home system, and I think also on 98SE before that, if I do anything requiring the CD drive then afterwards open an app which could require the CD (e.g., where I've opted to "full install" so all graphics etc. go onto the H/D for faster operation), I get a similar error message. I suspect it's a temp registry entry related to an MRU, since rebooting after the first app and before the second one eliminates the problem.

Try rebooting and see what happens.

Thanks for your reply. Rebooting does not help. It seems to be connected to the profile setup in some way.
