Error 12016 usually means that there are file system errors or bad blocks.

Run CHKDSK with /f key enabled to find and fix errors in file system of all partitions.
    * open Start -Run and type CMD
right-click found cmd.exe and select Run As Administrator
    * in the Command prompt type:
    chkdsk c: /f
    press Enter
    * This operation require restart. Schedule it to run before next system start and restart your PC.

Paragon KB also recommends HDD Vendor's utilities (please refer to http://kb.paragon-software.com/para...tId=2124&objId=3273&statId=1377139&foLang=en).
