Error Message after installation

    Run-Time Error '339'
    Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

    Can someone tell me what this file is and why it would be missing from my system. I have just re installed my OS after going through some major hakcer problems.
