Why, after I cloned one drive to an identical SATA driver, do I get the Error: Error loading Operating System when I attempt to boot. I have already tried fixmbr and fix boot. That didn't fix it. I tried a repair(the second repair option) with the original windows XP home CD w/ SP2.
The files are on the drive but the drive refuses to boot.
I even tried restoring the files back to the original drive in the hopes that
    it might help.
Now I have two Raptor drives that each give the same error when I attempt to boot. I have seen many posts with this error noted. Has anyone figured out how to fix this problem?
    Thanks.

    jj0071,

It's a BIOS message. Could you try this. After the clone process has finished, remove the old HD from your computer and shift the new HD data cable from its port on the MB to the port that the old HD had been using. You may need to disable the unused SATA port. Any difference?

Just to clarify, the Repair option you tried, was it the one that shows right after you pressed F8 to agree to the EULA screen?

It was the second "R" option. I even tried to reinstall just the operating system. It still comes up with the same error message. I'm at a loss.
