Error caused by Eset: No solution found

    I have been using Nod32 for about 4 or 5 months and have been happy with it and thought it did a ggod job untill recentlly, after an update that took place on or about the 1st of September 2005, my computers ( I have Nod32 installed on two a desktop and a notebook) started to have problems. they could not access the internet, secure pages refused to load, printing of pages from the net stopped printing, the computers would restat by themselves, in gereral my processing came to a halt! Drunig one of the mentioned problems windows XP-home sent a automessage to Microsoft and it was re plyed with the following message below:

    Error caused by Eset: No specific solution found

    Problem Description

    An analyst at Microsoft has investigated this problem and determined that an unknown error
    occurred in NOD32 Antivirus System. This software was created by Eset.

    Problem Resolution

    Microsoft has researched this problem with Eset, and they do not currently have
    a solution for the problem that you reported. Below is a list of recommendations
    to take that may help prevent the problem from recurring.

    * Contact Eset for support or product updates.

    Additional Information

    If this problem continues to occur with the latest product updates for NOD32 Antivirus System,
    we recommend you obtain assistance and troubleshooting information directly from Eset.

    Recent updates to my computers by Nod32(ESET) has produces on all my
    computers the following problem. Slow connections to various sites,
    problem with my Browsers, I use FireFox ver 1.06 and Maxthon ver
    1.3.3, I use others but these are the main ones! The problem prevents
    accessing FTP sites or downloading in general.
    I am using a cable connection 450 kbps,a Motorola cable
    modem(SURFboard sb5100) below is a copy of the error described as
    presented by Microsoft error reporting for my Toshiba notebook.

    I am now shut down as I have no My Internet services(download files,
    WEB-mails etc.) Please contact ASAP with an answer to this problem!!!!

    end message to Eset:

    I followed the recommandations from the error report and removed Nod32, I installed Avast antivirus and all the errors stoppedo_O?
    Has anyone had a simmilar experience or have any ideas? I would like to hear all accounts.

    Well, I tracked down all emails that have come to support@eset.com and there was no email containing the key words you mentioned.

    Does the problem go away after turning off IMON? (indicated by a grey icon)
    If so, have someone asked you to send a log from the npe utility, or try using lspfix to remove any unnecessary LSP?

    I have not tried your suggestion as I uninstalled Nod, I read about another user that had a simmilar problem see below:

    I will send you a copy of the message I first sent. Hope you can help me as I really liked using Nod32, I had it on all my Windows pc's and was going to install on my linux pc as will?
