error accessing my pictures

does anyone know or have any suggestions,I keep getting the error when I click on my pictures.XP Home SP1. Completely screws with my system.Screen flashes tray items disappaer then reapear missing some of them.very annoying.

 

Just a hunch, but maybe if you do a checkdisk scan to repair errors, and then do a disk cleanup, and possibly do a malware scan and a AV scan, it might right itself.

not an exact match, but an easy doublecheck

if this where a parallel install (trying to view User Account\My Documents\My Pictures from a 2nd install, like if youve dropped a HDD into another box and accessed it) it could be an NTFS permissions issue ?

could be something completely different of course
