I'm getting this error every time I try to install SAS. When I search in Google, it tells me that Windows Installer is missing or not activated.

I check it, Windows Installer is O.K. and pefectly functional as I can install
other Software without any problems. I also tried to re-download a fresh copy of SAS but it didn't help.Any idea what could cause this?

Antartica, I was going to suggest that you contact SAS but I see that you have already done so: Error Code 1719.

I don't see this error when installing SAS. Perhaps another member who has seen it, will respond shortly.

Just wondered if installing in safe mode gives the same error?
