I've just downloaded it and am trying. A few questions. I prefer to have some kind of button to clean my history, my cookies, my session, my compact databases, etc... - EVERYTHING. Does EPB have it? What about something similar to NoScript extention for EPB? Do I need it? What about protection against WebRTC leakage? P.S. What I like about EPB is that I can use my (several) VPN services (1st) and, plus, connect to Epic's VPN! It's like having two-chained VPN's without any leakage/s!
I've been using Epic Private Browser for two weeks. I like it. Just wonder if the EPB company is gathering any info on the users. P.S. Also, it's strange that there are not a lot of comments about EPB at WildersSecurity.
I wanted to download, but I freaking hate it when they don't offer the full file, Opera also does this.
hmmm, looks interessting. Does anyone know if theres an Portable Version avaiable? i really would like to take it for an Test drive. ps.. sorry for the last post, i just couldnt.... greetz edit: ok, i did try it. First thing that did come to my mind is, Why teh hell doesnt it ask me where i want to install it?? No choice?, does a lot of stuff in the background while installing and then starts the browser unasked!! tries to make several connections..at least to 5 IP´s. i dont even..... know what to say, "Privacy" for shure... ok, im trying not to judge here, but installing the browser WITHOUT asking me, where to install it, or at least have some choice to setup is a point where it stops for me. Lets see f at least, it deinstalls itself cleanly... for the ones interessted, it installs itself here: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Epic Privacy Browser around 450MB in size.. and it does not clean everything related to it in the registry after deinstalling.. 15 min. in and still finding Epic browser stuff in the Reg... really?!?!?! To be honest, i think LibreFox, Tor Browser or even UNGOOGLED chromium with some addons of choice are a better way.. but thats just my opinion.. greetings..
For a (very) long time this forum has been more or less dead. But now it seems to come alive again, and with a new interface. https://forum.epicbrowser.com/
