I have TI8 Build 859 (I know there's a later one, but I heard some say that it's slower, so I'm waiting). After creating a full backup & several incrementals (verifying each day), I used Explore Image to test it. I went to the Data file (renamed from My Documents long ago) & copied a .doc file to my desktop. However, when I double clicked on it, Word opened & said it was an encrypted file. Trying to open any .doc file on the image produced the same result.

I also copied an Excel worksheet to the desktop. Trying to open that file produced a message that it wasn't in a recognizable format.

I was able to copy a plain text file to the desktop & open it.

Can anyone explain what is happening or have a fix?
    Thanks in advance,

    Hello phrab,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

The problem is known and fixed in the latest build (build 889). Please download the latest build, which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/my/products/registration/. Thank you.

Thank you, Ilya. Worked like a charm. And, so far, it seems to work just as fast.:D
