I just purchased looknstop 2.05 and downloaded the internet filter rule for emule that says connect to This rule allows you to contact Emule servers on port 4672. UDP

I am using windows xp home pentium 4 3.20 mhz with cable modem 1 gig ddr 400 and should have no problem connecting

I keep getting an error that I have low-id and cannot connect to severs
is there any other internet filter that is blocking TCP/UPD 4662 must be open for emule to run !

    I goto http://www.thedonkeynetwork.com/connection_test

and the link test for [port 4662] and I get the following response

timeout : timeout on ip **.*.***.*** (6 sec)

this means, that we even did not receive a
RESET signal; maybe due to a 'stealth' firewall

can this be something relating to port 80 that I have a time out ?

please help me setting up a new rule !

    thanks mikron

I see that there is for both a client rule and server for edonkey2000

and emule only has server rule can there be an addtional client rule for emule

when i run all rules mentioned TCP/UPD 4662 port is not open inbounds
    thanks
