its currently an internal beta, but here is what is said about the new beta.

currently the new engine can only be tested via the mini scanner test tool. It is not used by the Anti-Malware scanner or guard right now.

Mamutu 3 beta takes 16 MB here. Win7x32 Ultimate.
    Also tested some zero-days. 5 samples - 2 zbot/trojans,1 trojan downloader,1 fake AV, 1 trojan.
PrevX (disabled) and Mamutu installed together on a VM (Clone of a real system). 2 badware on execution did nothing for unknown reasons (checked them with sandboxie too - left no traces) and thus Mamutu put them aside but caught 3 remaining without problems. Then I turned on PrevX free, it caught all 5 on a scan including those inactive and on attempting to execute but alas after I got infected.
Then I retested it with MBAM full, wouldn't allow it to upgrade its database but it blocked and quaratined all 5 on scan and on execution, called them by their names - zbot, trojan downloader etc. I liked it but felt curious if MBAM have any heuristic analysis? Or was it that "zero-days" turned out to be not zero-days although I took the latest I found?

Yeah, I had a suspicion and now believe it. Thank you, think you're right. Never have thought chukra would take 5 MB of memory on scan. 8-D
