I'm on a trial license (EAM) and noticed the beta available so I went ahead and enabled it. For some reason it blocks Chrome and it's extensions, so chrome is now unusable. I thought I could do a system restore but Windows 10 is giving me an error, so that's that. It looks like my only recourse would be to uninstall.

    Any one else seeing this?

Also since I'm on a trial version with no license I can't seem to down grade back to 10.

You can not downgrade from beta11 to stable10.

I see... Thank you siketa. So any ideas how to get Chrome working?

I've disabled EAM and chrome still won't work. This is the first time I've ever had issues with chrome and it's extremely coincidental that it happened right after turning on the beta for EAM, so im pretty sure it's not something else.

And now when I try to update I get an error message from Emsisoft about an internal error and to contact support.

Dragon, if you want to go back to v10 then you have to uninstall v11 first and then install v10 again.

Ok I'll give that a shot. I saw that would be a possibility when I installed 11, but I didn't think about it being an issue with the free trial I'm using. Oh well, we'll figure it out. Thanks!

Quick update. Uninstalling EAM beta 11 brought Chrome back. Going to try getting another trial since I still had 21 days left. Loved EAM 10 though.

This actually works out though I guess. I wanted to try out EIS to so this is the perfect opportunity for me to give it a trial. I already know EAM is the bomb, let's see how it is with their FW.

Perhaps *BETA* should be in the thread title?

Do you use Chrome? If so how's it working with EAM 11 beta on your machine? I had to remove EAM 11 because it blocked chrome and I couldn't whitelist for some reason.

Remember folks expect some quirks and hiccups with beta software.

I assume this will only apply to processes the behavior blocker already monitors i.e. Internet facing apps, explorer.exe, taskhost.exe, etc..

The scanner comes with an improved detection of file-less malware that resides only in memory.
What I really would like to see in EIS/EAM is an active web filter malware scanner using its real-time scan engine to supplement the existing URL blacklisting. Then it would really be a "killer" anti-malware app.
