As per screenshot, emails would not download, closing Outlook didn't help. The Nod32 download screen became stuck and only a reboot resolved the situation.

This has been a known issue previously and was addressed in 2.12.3, sorry to say, it's back...

    Cheers :D

Re: NOD32 2.5 Final Will Be Released May 6th

I have these problem with all the beta versions:

When I'm receving emails trhought Thunderbird, some time NOD32 didn't scan all the emails files and I can't receive that emails...

Other times, NOD32 started to scan the same files again as you can see on the image:

    Is this normal!?

Hello Mr. Crow and and of course, Mr. Spear,

Can I ask if you have your email client set to check for emails very quickly, like one or two minutes maybe? Or are you clicking the 'Check for new mail' button repeatedly? We recreated the situation here with one of my colleagues setting his email client to check for mail at one minute intervals. He received a 2MB attachment....and the stack began. But only a 2-story stack.... not like the impressive download stacks you 2 guys have created!

    Bandicoot. :)

Ahhhh Mr Coot, top of the morning to ya, indeed I do, I have MS Outlook to check emails every 2 minutes, and I may have/probably did hit "send and receive" again to try and bring up the progress bar...

I hear you have almost lost your hair ;) :D

    Cheers :D

One thing I did not mention in my posts in the other thread, my progress window does not stack, I just have one. I am set to check new mail every 30 mins and I am using Outlook Express if that has any bearing on the matter.

Once it freeze's it stays there no matter what I do. I can close OE and pull the plug on the internet connection but it just stays there.

    Hi guys

There was a bug in the beta version. It actually didin't cause any network errors (the broken conenction was caused by some external source), but when this happened during an e-mail download, the progress window never disappeared.
The problem was identified and fixed in the final version

    Hi Tomas,

In the final version I didn't see that problem until now... ;)

    Thanks for fixing it.

    Best Regards
