ekrn service recovery

    When servicing my customers' computers I use a batch file to enable failure recovery of a number of important services. This used to work on ekrn but even when running as the SYSTEM context I get "access denied", using NOD32 v4.2.

    I prefer to set service recovery to two restarts, then on subsequent failures a restart and send an email alert to me.

    Could someone advise on how to alter the ekrn service recovery options?

    Try disabling self-defense and restarting the computer.

    Is this the only way to change the recovery options? I'd much prefer a scriptable method if possible.
