First, at this moment, I use NOD32 v2.7 French and I'm waiting for NOD32 Antivirus V3 (not smart security, because I already use ZAPro 7 firewall). But I frequently read posts on this forum.

Something is worrying me because I saw that all applications are proxied by ekrn.exe to access network. It is supposed that NOD32 AV is a subset, in fact, of the whole NOD32 Smart Security, including the proxy functionnality.

There is a post dealing with ekrn.exe downloading something big from the internet... In fact, it was firefox...

So, I suppose that, with a firewall, from rule point of view, ekrn.exe is always mentionned (as it is the proxy) instead of the true application is'nt it ?
If it's true, this is annoying ! It's difficult to know the real application that is opening TCP/UDP ports and accessing the internet...

    Thank you for informations !
    Regards
