    Hi

I have ESET SmartSecurity 4 installed on Windows 7 Home Premium on a 64 bit operating system.

Up until a few days ago I was able to ESET SS4. Now when I startup the computer I get the following message "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022). Click OK to close the application."
I then try and open SS4 and get the same error message.
I have also uninstalled and installed SS4 and still get the same message

    Any ideas?

I have scanned my computer with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.51.2.1300,
Database version: 7951 and it didn't find anything wrong.

    Hello,

Have you tried scanning from an ESET SysRescue disc?

    Regards,

Maybe a problem with SxS? I'd suggest contacting customer care and supplying them with a SysInspector log for perusal. A dump from egui crash might be needed if it turns out not to be caused by a problem with SxS.
