    Hi all,

Is there a way to log *all* files scanned by the file-system scanner?

My statistics screen currently shows 1627563 file scanned, and the last "scanned object" is always shown underneath the pie chart. Does this get logged to a text file anywhere - or can it?

I'd like to capture a day's worth of activity (normal, not on-demand scanning) and get a feel for which files are getting scanned very frequently. Then I can consider excluding them if I know they are safe. For example, Sage Line 50 opens a handful of files several times per second, causing them to be rescanned almost constantly.

I've looked at the logging options but didn't see anything which helped. ideally I'd like something like a text file:

    C:\File1.exe
    C:\File2.dll
    C:\File3.ini
    C:\File1.exe
    C:\File6.jpg
    C:\File7.txt

    etc.

    Many thanks.

    Jim

    Hello jimwillsher,

You can use the process monitor and filter for ekrn.exe.

    Thank you,
    Richard

Doh! Can't believe I never thought of that

Many thanks, that sounds like exactly what I need.

    Cheers,
