Earthlink with a DUN connection?

    Hi,

    Can Earthlink be used with just a DUN connection for dialup internet access? I got a special offer on their service but am NOT interested in putting their bulky resource hogging software on my computer. I Thanks if anyone knows.

    Hello hitcher,

    Short answer is yes. I am on dialup using Earthlink account without any of their software and have been for a few years. Call them and set up the account and, if necessary, a tech will walk you through the procedure.
