E2EE / Trust nobody -programs

Hi! I'm a new here, tried using search but I couldn't find topics about this.

Are there more (open source) programs that support end to end encryption. With security and encryption, privacy in mind, I'd most like to trust only the friend in the other end.

Pidgin and OTR's a fantastic tool for many purposes but I was wondering if there are programs that make VNC, VoIP and VPN with file sharing possible using self generated keys.

for voip use jitsi , for vpn use https://socialvpn.wordpress.com/ and for vnc ive heard ultravnc with the above mentioned plugin should do the job , unless anyone has better suggestions
