    I have two machines on my network that get this error when I try to start a scheduled backup task ( E00640067 - Failed to run task). The funny thing is I can run a manual backup no problem, however when I create a task and try to run it I get the error. The user that Acronis is running under has admin right on the clients machine. I'm using version 9.1. I have tried uninstalling and reinstall with no luck. This happens on only two clients.

    Hello mclanasa,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Corporate Disk Backup Software.

    Please make sure you use the latest build of Acronis True Image. To get access to updates you should first register your software. Don't forget to update all components (including agents).

    If updating doesn't solve the problem, please do the following:

    - Download and run schedmgr.exe application;
    - Issue the following commands:

    service stop
    service uninstall

    - Close schedmgr;
    - Replace schedhlp.exe and schedul2.exe files in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\Schedule2 folder with the files from this ZIP archive.
    - Run schedmgr application once again;
    - Issue the following commands:

    service install
    service start

    - Close schedmgr;
    If the problem still persists then please do the following:
    - Open the command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd);
    - Run the following command in the folder the schedmgr.exe file was saved to:

    schedmgr get report > schedreport.txt

    - Collect schedreport.txt;
    - Run Acronis Schedule Manager program (schedmgr.exe) once more;
    - Issue the following command:

    set logflags support

    - Schedule backup creation once again;
    - Wait until the scheduled backup will fail;
    - Collect the log file schedul2.log that is placed in the \Program Files\Common
    Files\Acronis\Schedule2 folder;

    Please create Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

    Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.

    This is a broken link, could you please post the working link:

    Replace schedhlp.exe and schedul2.exe files in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\Schedule2 folder with the files from this ZIP archive.

    I would like this link too...I'm getting the same problem. I'm trying to run a scheduled task under one user under another user. On our computer everybody is a admin and no one has passwords.

    Hello everyone,

    I have corrected the link in the previous post. I'll post it here as well: ZIP archive

    Thank you.
