    Hello,

I am a user of Acronis True Image Home 10.0.

Today I switched my mainboard to an MSI K8N with nforce 4 chip and added a second hard disc.

After a repair install of Windows XP (including all updates of course) my Acronis installation does not find any hard drives anymore and gives me error E000101F4.

I use MS standard IDE drivers in UDMA5 mode.

What can I do to get Acronis working again?

    Thanks from Germany
    Andreas

    Hello Schwarti,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please download the latest version of Acronis drivers, install it and see if the problem persists.

If the issue persists, please do the following:

    - Download SnapAPI.dll

    - Replace C:\WINDOWS\system32\snapapi.dll with the downloaded one

    - Reproduce the issue and collect the log file.

The log file will be created on the C:\ partition. The name of this file will be snapapi[date-time].log. Also please create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.

    Alex,

Thank you for the above fix. I run Acronis True Image 9.0.3677 and I got the same error message after reinstalling my OS and installing TI all over again.

Keep up the good work. :)
