Hi, I've been getting attachments from 1.) Panda 2.) KimKomando News Letter but not her daily tips 3.) My daughter from her home and from her work ,two different accounts. I don't understand why? Anyone know what I should do? I don't open them and they aren't spoofed so I can't figure out what is going on? Anti-virus just says cleaned with no other info. Thanks, Ent

Are you sure its from who it claims. Most companies will not send attachments out to users under any circumstances as files can become infected with viruses. Its probably from someone trying to spread a virus.

At this moment most e-mail are sent with spoofed sender addresses. Several worms misuse address books and files on infected systems to disguise themself.
Just stay secure yourself. Be careful opening mail and use secure software.

Note however, that probably one of your relations (friends, relatives) has an infected sytsem, for both From: and To: addresses are on the same system.

Hi, These are legal e-mails, not spoofed. I know Panda would never send an attachment neither would Kim Komando, so I didn't open them, in fact I don't open attachments. I receive only in text. When I right click and read the properties they are valid e-mails. This has been going on since the 18th. Is there a new virus or something? Thing is everyday I get Kims tips and websight and news letter and it's only her news letter that is an attachment? My daughter has Yahoo mail but at work it is different. Today she sent me 2 e-mails from work one was an attachment and the other wasn't but neither was supposed to be. I can't figure it outo_O I don't know if it is me or should I notify them of what is hapening?? Thanks for your help, ENT

Open them I'd say. It may depend on both the maiserver or mailclient how the content is delivered: as in line content or as an attachment.
