    Yes, they overwrite the Firewall .ini, its now more complex in compairson with the old one where I have delete some unnecessary rules, but take a look at our self.

    Well it's about time they got an update out. I had all but gave up on it although i really liked it for a time.

    Maybe will give this release a look.

    Well, it probably is. I just sent the info to them in order to update it so that way more people can learn of it.

    If thats the case then i retract any expression of mine in renewed interest in it.

    Besides, just adding Vista support doesn't translate for XP ONLY users as an update IMO.

    I agree. Hopefully there will be a new version of it soon that adds more features to it (such as a community maintained database).

    After all I really like this little program. There's enough good features with easy to use.

    There was a bit of discussion a few months ago when it was released. There are fewer popups than v1.x (especially when installing programs) but its leaktest performance is inferior to even a driverless v1.x. I would keep using v1.x on Vista/Server 2008 except it occasionally renames certain dlls pfproc.dll (especially when unpacking installers with Universal Extractor).
