    Hi,

If I am not mistaken to be able to burn files like .avi, .mpeg, etc, to a DVD you have to convert them into DVD type and then you can burn your DVD so my question is :

Do you know any good software, user friendly, that can convert any video files to DVD type files and then burn them into a DVD? If possible free or, at least, not to expensive...

    Thank you for your suggestions,
    Atomas31

    Hi WSFuser,

Thanks for your suggestions. You are right about nero, it is to expensive for me right now and it seems to be more dedicated for pro (wich I am not!). In revanche, DVD Santa seems very user friendly and being able to do almost everything I need. But, I didn't see if you could rip/copy a DVD with it?
Also, do you know if there is any coupon or discount for DVD santa?

    Thanks,
    Atomas31

Yes you can use dvdSanta to rip. I changed from dvdSanta to Ashampoo Burning Studio and you can get a discount coupon if you email them. It`s very easy to use.

    Hi Beetlejuice69,

Why did you change for Ashampoo Burning Studio? What more Ashampoo Burning studio offers?

    Thanks,
    Atomas31

Yup it does. You can burn to DVD or to a CD-R, it`ll concert the files but that takes a little longer...but still not bad.
