Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know it was not the police who detected it, but the Dutch intelligence services (the three letter services, in this case the four letter services) AIVD and MIVD who detected it. There are lots and lots of articles and discussions in NL about it. Once again, correct me if I'm wrong. It seems that the hacker(s) got access to the GAL. There were not only police officers on that list. Some prosecutors and others it seems also. But now I am wondering about Europol since its headquarter is here in NL. Was nobody from Europol on that list also? Questions, questions ...
