It looks like the DSLR website has again some problems. For example https://www.dslreports.com/forum/security,1 Messages like 504 or 502. Again problems with the certificate or something other? Anyone here able to go to DSLR? And yes, long ago it was mutual allowed to post here and there in case of a problem.
Jan, the site seems to be down: https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/dslreports.com.html | https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/dslreports.com
It started about 12pm EST time yesterday and since can't get in or see it... they had a few issues over the past year. I just hope they don't go the way like CastleCops.
Yes EASTER, I have seen that too. Checked the cert. At least that one is not outdated (that were issues there in the recent past). But, depending on how you look at it, see: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=www.dslreports.com
Well I know I was there on Wednesday morning so... I just hope they don't go away for good because nothing was being talked about. https://www.reddit.com/r/sysadmin/comments/1i2scxk/january_16_2025_dslreports_withdrawals_after_24/
Maybe, maybe there might be some posts on one of the F@H sites/forums about the issue. DSLR Team Helix is team # 4. See old post here in May 2020 https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thr...rs-security-forums.333157/page-2#post-2915865 There were (at least until this outage) daily posts at the DSLR Team Helix forum.
Some news (about which I didn't know until now): 1. A recent thread at AskWoody: DSLReports Replacement https://www.askwoody.com/forums/topic/dslreports-replacement/ 2. In that thread a link is given to a new site: Broadband Bulletin Starting page: https://broadbandbulletin.com/ Welcome page: Welcome to Broadband Bulletin https://broadbandbulletin.com/d/2-welcome-to-broadband-bulletin I see already there many familiar names. I also saw that there is now a new Team Helix Forum. I'm glad to see that. https://broadbandbulletin.com/t/team-helix A new Security forum: https://broadbandbulletin.com/t/security New Mozilla and MS forums etc. https://broadbandbulletin.com/t/mozilla https://broadbandbulletin.com/t/microsoft Well, I guess that things need to be sorted out, people get to know it, etc. etc. Let's see how the new site goes on.
Good to know info. I was pretty sure that DSLR is dead in the water, know one minding the helm or a skipper to give orders. It was only a matter of time.
The site is gone for good. No more. https://linustechtips.com/topic/1596942-dslreports-seems-to-be-gone-for-good/page/2/
I noticed something new on the DSLR site: This message: "dslreports.com is mostly closed only the home page is currently available members and guests may return for the first 5 minutes of any hour and this might change without any notice (DHMU -Justin)" And: "NEWS: The full site corpus is only available (in readonly form) for 5 minutes past each hour, for members and guests." PS: I don't know what DHMU means.
Thanks Daniel! I had no idea. PS: I had just access for only a few minutes there; the read-only form, from some weeks ago.
