DRW av 4.32, & "masks"

As there seems to be virtually no help file in this AV, are there any experienced users who can tell me how-to create masks, and what are the proper uses of masks and so on? Anything will be appreciated.

Thus far, excluding certain files and DIRs from the AV doesn't stop FPs.
DRW still finds and "eradicates" an alleged DOOM variant from Trojan HunterGuard, of all things, about once a day so I'm guessing that masks may possibly help reduce FPs(?) But I need to know what masks are first, of course, before I go mucking about. Let one be prudent and wise, in their haste... ;-)
