Just started using DropMyRights (DMR) on Vista and it seems to be flawless. I read somewhere that someone developed a launcher (used in conjunction with DMR) that sits in the tray which can be used to start any application with reduced privileges. Does anyone know about this? have a link? It would be more convenient then creating individual shortcuts. By the way, is the feature in Online Armor to "run safer" the same thing?

Do you need DropMyRights on Vista? I thought that Vista was much more aggressive on minimizing tokens than XP, especially for IE.

I use DMR on XP and it works very well. That launcher sounds cool - wonder if anyone knows where to find it...

I use an Admin account in Vista with UAC partially OFF (no prompts). I also use Maxthon and Firefox which don't yet support Vista's protected mode like IE7, so DMR is a must.

Protected mode can be enabled also for, e.g., Firefox.
