Nobody tested it yet? I've been looking but not found any reviews. I bought 2 licenses when the old thread came out about it. I have it installed on 1 computer with OA++ and 1 with Outpost Security Suite and i pretty sure it's got a very good HIPS component because everytime i've gotten a popup from the other 2 programs, i also get 1 from DS after if i allow. I was more curious about the anti-virus part though. It says it has over 3,800,000 signatures. Besides the fact that it's forum is dead and some people don't like how they quoted their lifetime license, it really seems like a good program. Just wondering if anyone has seen a testing of it. Couple on youtube it seems to do pretty well.

It was tested off and on here quite a bit a few months back, not much has been said about it here though since then. Do a search for it here, there was a massive thread on it, including support/posts from DriveSentry themselves. As to how it is now, I've no clue, but if I remember correctly, it had some issues, and yeah, the license thing got to people. As far as the forums over at DriveSentry, I don't think they were ever really alive, but that's my personal observation.

I ran it and liked it too until development appeared to dry up.
IMO the future for the program is uncertain. And that's regardless of the price (free or not).

If your comfortable with that update frequency it's an ok program.
When updates become less frequent than daily, I get uncomfortable about the direction that software is headed.
    To each their own choice.

I tend to agree with you but then again I don't use it as my main AV and is HIPS is pretty good already so I don't think it needs as much updates than conventionnal AV...
