    Hi,

all my harddisks are encrypted with Drive Crypt Plus Pack. Including the operating system. I have never backed up any data. I know this is stupid so I would like to change this since recently I had a major disk crash at work.

Can True Image back encrypted disks? I mean I can imagine how a backup of an unencrpted disk would work. But if the entire disk is encrpyted and the backup software copies them one to one exxactly to DVD then if only one bit is corrupt i can throw the entire backup to the garbage. Is this correct. At least that is my understanding of sector by sector encrpytion.

If encrypted harddisk that I would like to backup is 400GB then if only DVD has a manufacturing error then the whole backup is for the birds?

Could anybody please help me clarify this?
