Has anyone tried both for whole disk encryption?
How do they compare in practical use?
What are their respective strengths and weaknesses?
    How about reliability?

I can only speak for DCPP which i´m using on my computers for quite a while now.

No problems with it at all.

As for PGP Desktop, i wanted to try it for virtual discs but with PGP Desktop 9 you, for example, cannot rename the container file and if you do PGP crashes, so i got back to Truecrypt for Container Crypt.

As for the PGP Whole Disk Crypt, i havent tried it yet. I also would be interested in some insights.

    Greets
