    Hello,
I've been following the thread on disaster recovery(great thread by the way) and was wondering if anyone knows if Drive Image 5 is still available. I will not use the later bloatware versions of this program which require MS.NET. BootitNG looks interesting but I'm new to backing up and am reluctant to try this at this time. Thanks for any info you might have.

    Close,
I considerd True Image, but in view of what I've read on the True Image forum here as well as some other homework I've done, I have come to the conclusion that True Image isn't as trustworthy as I'd like for a backup utility. Stil hoping someone can point me in the direction of the older, and more solid, Drive Image 5.
    Thanks.

I use Ghost 2003 and Image For Windows (TeraByte) for imaging, and BootIt NG (TeraByte) as a boot manager. I stopped using TI7 when it would not restore reliably.

I use a free program (I don't think it's being developed any more) called DrvImagerXP. I can't remember where I found it.

    Bigc,
Thanks for the link, but when I went there it said Drive Image 5 was "permanently discontinued" and "out of stock."
Should be available somewhere; will keep looking.
    Thanks again.
