I have just porchased PE and am pretty much a novice. Having run it I notice that checking UDP remote processes, it appears that Dreamweaver is listening on the broadcast address 255.255.255.255 local port 2578 remote port 3527. Can anyone enlighten me as to what it is doing? Is this something I should be worried about?

    Hi southcot

    First, welcome to Wilders :)

It is normal for Dreamweaver to listen on UDP 3527. I do not have a lot of experience with it, but it will communicate with other systems working in a collaborative environment (ie. office LAN).

You could restrict this traffic to the LAN in the firewall and have separate rules for when it needs to contact outside servers.

    Regards,
