I'm working on my neighbor's computer, and I have a few questions about the Dr Web ISO image. What is it exactly? Will it be able to scan the harddrive without being in Windows; is it bootable? Will it "fix" and malware it finds?

    Thanks,
    Nate

Thanks, that very good to know. I hope it works. I'll report my findings after the scan.

Yeah I just saw that. I replied before you did. I guess I'm looking for the Dr Web live cd. Though I can't seem to find any direct link to it. It has been removed from the beta section. Any ideas?

I have since given up on this. There is still no file listed under the beta section on Drweb.com (see here. Bummer to because this would have been nice.

do not be too down-hearted, dr.web ARE still developing it and it has not been 'scrapped', but they dont know when beta or release version will be. :D
