I have a friend who had a trojan found and quarantined by Dr. Web's Cure-it. Apparently the trojan cannot be cleaned. But if he just deletes Dr. Web now will the trojan be deleted as well? I guess he can then just download Cure-it again and run another scan to see? Anybody know?

Ok. Thanks for the answer CSJ- I think that means deleting Dr. Web will not remove the quarantined trojan. Is that right?

off the top of my head, i aint sure.

if the folder still remains in %USERPROFILE%\DoctorWeb\Quarantine\, then just delete the folder. ;)

if drweb hasnt done anything with the file it will come up with a message when closing the scan warning some infected files havent had an action done.
