    Hello Forum.
After all the put downs and comments made about Drweb AV, i would just like to say: I have been using Drweb for two years and never had a virus or any kind of nasty, Plus never had a problem with a daly up-date, and only paid $26. Excellent protection, Support is second to none, and at a super price. What more can you ask for.

Since you started this thread off on the defensive, I have to ask, do you and your pc like DrWeb? If so, why worry what others say? I use Avast (and you know how it's done on comparatives lately) and I don't worry about the negatives, just the positives!!! A clean & reliable pc is something to brag about!

I think I'm with Chris on this one. I do get sick of people talking about detection rates as though they are the only thing that matters. Yes, Dr Web achieves only 'standards' on many AV-comparatives tests. So what. In order to even be eligible to be tested the product must be 'good.' I left Dr Web for a combination of reasons; rude and uncooperative support, bugs, and average detection. One reason isn't enough to switch.
Dr Web is a good AV, for some. It isn't for everyone. But don't be afraid to give it a shot, for all the reason Chris has mentioned in other threads.

Doctor Web, Ltd. released a new generation of its free curing utility for PCs - CureIt!, version 4.44.

The new CureIt! contains updated versions of all anti-virus components (scanner, definitions bases, online help system) which will soon be included in the commercial release of Dr.Web for Windows, v4.44, expected in a few days.
