    I ha.ve developed a problem downloading using IE7. I get this message"your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded". I have disabled my firewall and also set my security to the lowest level under Internet Options without any luck. The only way I have been able to download is to put the site I am downloading from in my trusted sites.

    First of all I would strongly advice to put your security on full strength again: enable your firewall, change your security to the recommended level.

    Then we're going to try to reset your Internet Explorer.
    Close all your browser windows but leave one open (or open one if you haven't done that yet).
    - Go to Tools
    - Internet Options
    - Tab 'Security'
    -> Click "RESET ALL ZONES TO DEFAULT LEVEL" <-
    - Tab 'Advanced'
    -> Click 'RESTORE ADVANCED SETTINGS' <-
    -> Click 'RESET' <-
    Now restart your PC (just to be sure).

    Check again if you can download files.
    If not: please report back.
