For months I was certain this problem occurred because I occasionally download through a proxy. After several Google searches I found posts at other forums about this download error with or without proxies. If I download using the built-in Firefox applet (or other browsers) the error message will be a basic "failed." A download manager like uGet displays the full error message: Incorrect source - Different file size The download has not "failed" because the link remains active. In fact, I can usually restart the download. If the download can be restarted, why did it stop? I need a solution. How can I fix Incorrect source - Different file size?
