Just noticed something and can't figure it out. Was checking my msconfig.exe and saw "double" in the OPEN
List---two (2) identical entries for SPYWARE GUARD.
Only dif was one was "common", second one was
    "user".

Here are both lines copied from Search & Destroy Opening Entries.
    Located: Startup (common), sgmain.exe.lnk
    command: C:\JAVACOOL\SpywareGuard\sgmain.exe
    file: C:\JAVACOOL\SpywareGuard\sgmain.exe
    size: 360448
    MD5: 61c028aba5e49573a6332f4a7c744e87
    ----------------------------------------------------------
    Located: Startup (user), sgmain.exe.lnk
    command: C:\JAVACOOL\SpywareGuard\sgmain.exe
    file: C:\JAVACOOL\SpywareGuard\sgmain.exe
    size: 360448
    MD5: 61c028aba5e49573a6332f4a7c744e87

HERE IS MY QUESTION: WHICH ONE TO "KILL", WHICH ONE TO "SAVE"o_O??.
Running xp pro on dell 2400 desktop, am only user ever.
Any Ideas, Please? Thanks in advance...moi

The common entry refers to the shortcut link of sgmain.exe for All Users:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

The user entry refers to the shortcut link of sgmain.exe for the Current signed on user.

    C:\Documents and Settings\{user signed on}\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

If the 1 KB shortcut link file is really a bother and you are the "only user ever"....remove the common entry. However....since it's not that big of a file I would suggest leaving it for those future times when someone else might use that PC :doubt:

Thank you, kind Mr. Bubba, sir, your excellency.
whoops---when i saw your name, my brain froze and I went into traumatic shivers. "Bubba" was my skipper back before Frogmen became SEALS. That guy could keep up with us grads and then some. He was 52 at the time.

ANYWAY. sincere thanks for your help. Although, Bubba, it is relatively simple, the "Ubiquitous Duo" showed up overnight. thanks again. moi (dutch van).
