    I've been using the most current version of the Firefox extension, DoNotTrackMe (3.1). I've been noticing that the cumulative perpetual counter of blocked trackers (on the graph) is not updated for the current session when I use my browser with Sandboxie. Do I need to add something to Sandboxie to correct this -- or is there something else going on with my computer (XP)?

    BTW, the counter works just fine when not used with Sandboxie.

    I've created a Sandboxie template to correct this for you. To add and apply the template, carry out the following steps: -

    1. Open the Sandboxie GUI and select menu option: Configure->Edit Configuration. This will open Sandboxie.ini in Notepad for editing.

    2. Using Notepad, add the following lines to the bottom of Sandboxie.ini: -

    [Template_Firefox_Addon_DoNotTrackMe]

    Tmpl.Title=DoNotTrackMe
    Tmpl.Class=WebBrowser
    Tmpl.Url=https://www.abine.com/index.php
    OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,%Tmpl.Firefox%\dntme*
    3. Save the changes and exit Notepad.

    4. Still in the Sandboxie GUI, select menu option: Settings->[sandboxname, e.g. DefaultBox]->Sandbox Settings->Applications->Web Browser->Firefox->Add-ons

    5. In the dialog box that is displayed, you should now see an entry for DoNotTrackMe. Highlight the entry with the mouse and click the Add button. A plus sign will appear next to the entry to confirm that it is enabled.

    6. Click the OK button to save the change and exit the dialog box.

    7. Exit the Sandboxie GUI to finish.

    You've now given Sandboxie direct access to the DoNotTrackMe extension within the Firefox profile, which should resolve the issue.
